About Bad Times AI

Bad Times AI is an independent website at badtimes-ai.org, run by the Bad Times AI team. You upload one photo of your pet or yourself, and the site makes a short vertical AI video of that subject acting out the Bad Times routine, the dramatic “argument with the camera” from TikTok.

Why We Made It

In 2026 a TikTok lip-sync to “BAD TIMES” by Imael Angel, acted out as an argument with the person filming, turned into a trend, and creators began posting AI versions starring their cats and dogs. Getting a real cat to stand up and point at the camera isn’t an option, so we built a simple way to make that video from a single photo, without writing prompts or editing anything.

How It Works

You sign in with Google, upload one photo and choose 6, 10 or 15 seconds. An AI video model films a brand-new clip of the routine from your photo and a written description of the moves. It doesn’t cut or reuse the original TikTok, and the original creator’s face is never used. The finished video is a 720p vertical MP4 with an instrumental beat, saved to your account so you can download it or share it to TikTok. Bad Times AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Imael Angel, BOUUH YACHAKA, TikTok, ByteDance or Instagram/Meta. We are not the official site of the song or the trend. The song “BAD TIMES” is not included in our videos, and its rights belong to their owners.

Using It Responsibly

Only upload photos you have the right to use. Get permission before putting someone else in a video, make sure everyone shown is 18 or older, and don’t use photos of celebrities or public figures. Label your clip as AI-generated when you share it.
