This Privacy Policy explains how Bad Times AI (“we”, “us”), an independent site, handles your information when you use https://badtimes-ai.org.

Information We Collect

1. Account information. You sign in with your Google account, and we receive your name, email address and profile picture (avatar) from Google to create and run your account.
2. Photos you upload. The photo you provide so we can make your video, including the person or pet shown in it.
3. Generated videos. The videos we make for you, along with details such as their status and when they were created.
4. Payment information. The packs you buy and the status of your orders. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
5. Usage data. Anonymous statistics about how the site is used, collected with Google Analytics, such as pages visited and features used.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to run your account, make the videos you ask for, add and track your credits, process payments, answer support requests, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations. We use your uploaded photo only to make the video you asked for, and for nothing else. We do not sell your photos, your videos or any of your personal data.

Who We Share It With

• Our AI video provider. Your photo is sent to the AI video service we use only to generate your video.
• Stripe, which processes card payments.
• Google, for sign-in and for Google Analytics.
• Hosting and cloud storage providers that run the site and store files for us.

These providers receive only what they need to do their job for us.

Storage and Retention

Uploaded photos and generated videos are stored in our cloud storage so we can make your video and so you can view and download your videos from your account. We keep them only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.

Deleting Your Data and Your Rights

You can ask us to delete your photos, videos or account data, or ask for access to or correction of your personal data, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain processing or asking for a copy of your data.

Children

Bad Times AI is not directed at children. Do not upload photos of anyone under 18.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in and, through Google Analytics, to collect anonymous statistics about how the site is used. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
